Pokhara & Activities

Pokhara is one of the most popular destinations for tourist in Nepal. The city is a place of natural beauty known as a centre of adventure and offering stunning panoramic views of the Himalaya. Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world are situated in the area and Pokhara is the starting and ending point for many of the popular trekking routes in Nepal in the Annapurna region.
Pokhara is most probably one of the places on earth with a wonderful combination of diverse natural beauties and unique human culture. Phewa lake is the centre of all attractions in Pokhara which is approx. 900 meters high of sea level. This is indeed a paradise valley of natural lakes with cristaline water, water falls, gorges, rivers, natural caves, historic temples and monasteries.
The perpetual beauty of the valley is enhanced by its three renowed lakes including Fewa, Begnas & Rupa which own their natural resource in the glacial sector of the Annapurna range, virtually the abode of five major peaks, namely Annapurna I, II, II, IV & Annapurna South which definitely persue tourists to visit Nepal.
The valley has a backdrop of the most dramatic views of the Himalayan world which, in a clear day, can be seen so close that you can feel you can touch them. The moment you step into any part of Pokhara the first thing that takes you to a spontaneous delight is its fresh air and the most spectacular breathtaking gorgeous view of Himalayan ranges on the north which always welcomes you in Pokhara.
